Bob's expertise spans the disciplines of leadership and team development, organizational design and development, individual and organizational coaching, systems engineering and design, quality systems, and productivity improvement. He is an adjunct faculty member at both Phillips Graduate University and in the Executive MBA program at Loyola Marymount University where he has taught International Consulting, Leading and Managing Change, Strategic Planning, Executive Communication, Team Building and Business Research.
Bob has more than 30 years of technical, management and consulting experience in manufacturing, aerospace, and service environments ranging from startup to Fortune 50 companies. He has held various program, technical and general management positions with Boeing, Hughes, TRW, Citicorp and Olin Corp. He was also a management consultant for more than 12 years working with a diverse set of public, private and non-profit organizations. He has led the development and delivery of large scale change, productivity and continuous improvement efforts in dynamic, diverse and complex environments within Boeing as well as with customers and suppliers. He has a unique blend of business, technical and people oriented leadership competencies with the ability to build trust and create a positive working relationship with employees at all levels.
Bob joined Hughes Space and Communications in 1993 as the Manager of Organizational Development. In 1998 he joined the Spaceway program office as deputy program manager. In 2001 he became Director of Quality Operations at Boeing Electron Dynamics Devices. In 2003 he was named manager of Quality Audits at BSS and was appointed leader of Strategic Enterprise Improvements. Bob is currently in the Boeing Defense, Space and Security Engineering and Mission Assurance organization as director of leadership development and culture. He has been in his current role since 2008.
Bob is a Certified Quality Manager, Six-sigma Green Belt and Certified Mediator.
